'24' movie in development:
Kiefer Sutherland working on other films meanwhile

A 24 movie, based on FOX's hit series that came to an end on Monday, is in development and while Kiefer Sutherlandis believed to reprise his role as spy Jack Bauer on the big screen, he also has other film projects in the works.
Sutherland, who was a movie actor before he was cast in24when it debuted in 2001, voices a character called Bosco in the animated dog movie Marmaduke, set for release on June 4.
The 43-year-old Emmy-winning actor is also set to star in the 2011 sci-fi film Melancholia withTrue Bloodseries actor Alexander SkarsgÄrd and film actress Kirsten Dunst. Sutherland also has a part inTrust, a Cold War-era thriller set in Los Angeles that is said to star Guy Pearce and Billy Crudup. It is also set to be released in 2011.
Sutherland has starred in films such as the cult vampire movie Lost Boysin 1987, which also featured a young Corey Haim, Young Guns in 1998 and its 1990 sequel, as well as Dark City in 1998.
Executive producer Howard Gordon says a first draft of a 24 movie script based on Bauer and 24 has been written and a second one is in the works.
