Press conference in Sweden on the film director's new film evolved into a farce.

Absolutely extraordinary had Europe's film press and a dozen of the world's great movie stars Monday afternoon break with each other early, 20 minutes before scheduled because neither party really got consistent.
The occasion was the presentation in the remote Swedish film studios in Trollhättan by Lars von Trier's upcoming film, 'Melancholia'.
60 journalists from north to south and east to the west were turned up to hear about the movie, to follow the big shock from Cannes in 2008, 'Antichrist', but neither he nor the glittering teams brought together actors from across the world had large grant.

And the planned 45-minute news conference declined to just 20 as newspapers, web, television and radio from most of Europe gave ævred.
It quickly became clear that von Trier does not intend to tell what 'Melancholia' seems to be about, except that 'there is a wedding' and that 'there is a planet that whirls toward the ground .. . and - hmmm ...:

'Melancholia' is the studio has been described as a disaster movie, like 'Antichrist' up to the premiere was called a thriller, but was hardly in any conventional sense.

The American film stars Kirsten Dunst and Kiefer Sutherland were the most celebrated of Trier's stars at the presentation, and Charlotte Gainsbourg, who quite remarkably let his abdomen deface in 'Antichrist' is - guess we - the other sister, Dunst.
Stellan Skarsgård is in and play best man for the wedding between Dunst, Alexander Skarsgård, Stellan carnal son in reality.
Furthermore contributing dignitaries as John Hurt and Charlotte Rampling.

A reporter tried to Trier to classify the film's title, 'Melancholia', as another manifestation of the director's notorious accumulation of phobias and famous downs, but Trier jumped not.

When a German reporter gently reproached Trier that he had tricked the international film press to Sweden from near and far just for not being communicative traces corresponded Trier:

And true to say was 'Antichrist' filmed on location in the deep forests of Germany, a residence allegedly not exactly helped the depression that was offset of the film, which was one of the biggest scandal successes at Cannes ever.
Footage of 'Melancholia' has been underway for just three days, and Monday was the first time, the team shot in studios in Trollhättan, where three more of Trier's film has become.
